A vogel Menopause formula
A homeopathic medicine which assists with headaches and mood changes such as anxiety, depression and irritability as well as hot flushes and other symptoms associated with menopause.
Mode of action
- Agnus castus, Ignatia amara, Lachesis, Cimicifuga and Sepia: counteract the headaches and mood changes such as anxiety, depression and irritability associated with menopause.
- Lachesis, Sanguinara and Sepia: are effective in the treatment of hot flushes.
Take 10 drops on the tongue, or directly under the tongue or in a teaspoon of water 4 times daily 15 minutes before meals. Discontinue once improvement occurs.
In acute/severe cases:
Take the relevant number of drops hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs, or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider.
Homeopathic Clinical Indication*
Agnus castus D2 (Chaste tree)For sadness, despondency or loss of libido. Inability to recall things and bad memory. Absence of menstruation with abdominal pains, or very light periods.
Cimicifuga racemosa D6 (Black Cohosh)Anxiety and emotional distress during menopause with excessive sighing and unexplained sadness. Rheumatism during menopause. Migraines or severe headaches from hormonal origin. Heavy, dark irregular periods or amenorrhoea.
Ignatia amara D6 (St Ignatius Bean)Emotional outbursts, and hysterical symptoms. Hyperalert, sensitive, nervous and apprehensive with changeable moods. Periods are too frequent, heavy and last too long.
Lachesis mutus D10 (Bushmaster)Hot flushes, hot sweats and palpitations, intolerance of tight clothing (brings on flushes), suffocative feeling and headaches. Intolerance of heat, being in the sun. Generally worse during sleep or waking from sleep. Uterine congestion at menopause. Much general improvement when period starts (relief) worse before. Sleeplessness and insomnia. Periods very light and too short.
Sanguinaria canadensis D6 (Bloodroot)Congestion of blood to the face with red flushed, burning cheeks and congestive headaches, hot, burning flushes extending from face downward. Rosacea during perimenopause and menopause.
Sepia officinalis D12 (Cuttle fish)The major homeopathic remedy for female health and hormonal imbalance. Emotional irritability, impatience, fault-finding, fretful, sarcastic, spiteful around menstruation or menopause. Loss of libido and aversion to husband and children. Vaginal dryness and painful intercourse. Heavy feeling in uterus. Very light and/or irregular periods. Hot flushes followed by weakness.
